Joaquin “Kin” Perez

During Operation New Life, Joaquin “Kin” Perez was the youngest member of Governor Bordallo’s cabinet and the Commercial Port director who oversaw the incoming refugee ships from Vietnam.  Later he served as the general manager of the Guam Power Authority, the chief of staff for Lt. Gov. Madeleine Bordallo, and the Chairman for the Democratic Party of Guam.  He passed away on October 21, 2019.
